Local clinical protocol should also be taken into consideration.Intended Uses EalionMed Silver Calcium Alginate Dressing is for the management of chronic and acute wounds, full thickness, partial thickness, or shallow granulating exuding wounds, such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (pressure sore, bedsore), foot diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, donor sites.How to Use Step 1 Clean the wound in accordance with current clinical standards( such as saline or other recommended cleansing solution). Remove from the pack and cut to shape if necessary.Step 2 Apply the dressing, and allow a 1cm overlap on the skin surrounding the wound.Step 3 Secure with the appropriate secondary retention (such as adhesive dressing or medical tape) The dressing may adhere if used on lightly exuding wounds.
