This math Kit I covers the same content as the ShillerLearning Basic MathKit 1: multiple years’ worth of skills taught incrementally using threedifferent spiral-bound texts. Students as young as 3-4 begin in Book 1, forexample, with shapes and numbers and logic. By lesson 21, they are introducedto the decimal system. Skills spiral, so for example, you’ll see writing numberpractice, followed by a lesson on counting and using higher numbers. Thenstudents will spiral back and review skills. Follow the student’s pace as youwork through the 196 lessons in Book 1 and 151 lessons in Book 2, which workthrough double-digit math and multiples up through number 9. Book 3 continues withthe decimal system, money, calendar, geometry, mental math, commutation, and Romannumerals, and ends with area, working towards abstract, pre-algebraicskills—113 lessons in total.
