Premier Carving Mallet for letter carving and fine detail work. This mallet was designed after the all aluminum mallets used by orthopedic surgeons. Light weight, just over 1lb, this mallet is designed for the gentle tap needed to produce fine lettering work and very delicate details in stone. Use with carbide chisels for alabaster, limestone, granite and marble.
